...because the Universe keeps nothing :)

That's why!

I often get the question "if you have an idea, know a different way to do something that not many knew about, why do you give it away? others would hide their secrets jealously and count their blessings"...and it always makes me giggle!

Hmm, if I have to look for a self-benefiting excuse, I think I have one.

I am convinced that our actions, like the mysterious flow of blessings, is a boomerang. Definitely a boomerang.

When life sends you something good, take it, be grateful, but send it right back out without expecting anything in return! You know what? Experience tells me that it comes right back to you, because the Universe keeps nothing!

But if if you keep it to yourself, or are jealous about it, it's done and over with. Game Over. You killed it. Yes, you have it, but nothing more can come of it.

Likewise, if something bad happens to you. Don't send it out. Drop it. Game Over. Otherwise, more of it keeps brewing up! Best to end it. Move on.

...but keep sending out the good, baby!

You know, I must admit that since I began blogging and others began asking me to help them be able to finance an international life, my clients have kept me the busiest! Every day reminds me that the universe keeps nothing!

So, my advice is, if something helps you, take it! Then reach other to others when you can...

Tina is a kindred spirit, who is also fluent in Italian and wanted to work her languages to country-hop and live in Italy. It didn't take her long to get going, and I'm very proud of her! She gave me the Inspirational Blogger Award, and I want to thank her :)

The Inspirational Blogger Award -
For those bloggers who inspire others through their words and actions.
With a positive attitude, and an uplifting spirit
these bloggers make the blogosphere a better place,
and encourage others to do the same.
This award is for bloggers who rise up to set an example
but continue to reach out and support others.

Thank you Tina! and I'm glad you were able to pick-up your translation business so quickly :)
I know how much effort it takes to grow it. I hope it will help you return to all those places close to your heart :)

In the end, even in the small things of daily life, those who have a negative mentality fall victim to self-fulfilling prophecies.

Instead, with the right outlook, solid research and effort, you'll be surprised how gracefully paths open up before you in ways you didn't know possible! Cheezy but true.

For me, the first step was really the hardest. You just have to take the first step...

Hi Farfallina! Very interesting post. Makes me think of Karma and that saying (now a song by Justin Timberlake :): "What goes around comes around" :)

Ciao Delirante!

You know, right now that you mention that song. I actually have it and love it!

Hehe... since you reminded me of it, I'm playing it as I write :)

I love music with a good beat!

That's what I was saying: you're lucky but you make your own luck :) You deserve it and you deserve that award because you're definitely inspiring to me!

Very honest and mature post - I admit that I do find myself feeling "jealous" about things (especially in Tango, oh lordy lord) but I find that when I reach out and try to be inspiring to others, I am much happier if anything else. Just having a positive effect on my mindset is enough to keep me going. :-)
Thank you for the mention, I'm blushing. :-)

I have been blessed with an optimistic attitude. And burdened with negative minded people around me. I shall drop them postehaste!

Thanks xoxoxox

So very true, indeed! If you try to hold on to it, then you will receive that message from other people as well (they won't be giving). I wrote a short post about "What Goes Around, Comes Around" awhile back. Look at the September archives in my blog. Thanks for the inspiration!

Ciao Farfallina,
you are so honest, giving, positive and I hope that the karma will follow you to Rome. You're a true butterfly!
I hope you continue to blog from there.

Farfallina, you are so fabulous. I absolutely believe that you get back what you put out, although admittedly, it is hard sometimes to realize that we don't have to be stingy with our resources to have enough for ourselves. The universe recognizes and rewards generosity.
